Import Declaration (DI)

This is the most important moment of import process as the Import Declaration (DI) register submits the importer to the start of the audit procedure.

It is in this step that the contributor (importer) and audit relationship starts being the contributor responsible to inform in a clear and complete way all legal requirements as well as all data necessary for defining the operation perfectly.

If the declaration is not written correctly, it will be subject to many complications, the declaration’s acceptance by SISCOMEX is not enough, and the declaration needs to address all legal requirements as it is subject for review for five years after its issuance even if it is cleared.
